Best Groundwater Detectors
We offer the best detectors for locating groundwater!
The category that has most amazed and impacted our customers around the world are the water detectors or locators. This innovative and easy-to-use technology has given our customers the ability to detect fresh or saline groundwater in all types of soil.
The detector in this category that has been most successful among our clients is the OKM GeoSeeker Water Locator with Android Tablet.
This one device comes in two presentations:
- OKM GeoSeeker Mini Water and Cavity Locator: can detect groundwater deposits and cavities up to a maximum of 100 meters (328 feet). Price USD 5,940.00.
- OKM GeoSeeker Water Locator with Android Tablet: can detect groundwater deposits and cavities up to a maximum of 250 meters (820 feet). Price USD 9,800.00.

Why is the OKM GeoSeeker the best groundwater detector?
The GeoSeeker is a professional geoelectric water detector and cavity detector that measures soil resistivity and displays its scan data in stunning 3D graphics. It is a mobile and easy to operate geoelectric detector, designed and manufactured in Germany.
GeoSeeker uses a geoelectric measurement procedure based on the Schlumberger method to read soil resistivity. Based on this soil resistance, the detector is able to locate groundwater, gravel, and groundwater level deposits, as well as cavities, caves, and tunnels. Therefore, the geophysical detector can be deployed as a water or cavity detector at the same time.
GeoSeeker's hardware components are completely controlled by a modern Android tablet. All commands and measurement results are transferred wirelessly via Wi-Fi. Using the pre-installed software application, simply select one of the three supported scanning modes:
Active (precise) scanning
While using this scanning mode, the GeoSeeker uses two electrodes to inject electrical energy into the underground ground. Two additional electrodes measure the potential difference (voltage drop) at specific scanning points to calculate the final resistivity value. This mode is used to detect groundwater deposits, hidden caves, or even impermeable layers and barriers within the groundwater. In active scans, you can define a specific depth range in which you are going to perform your measurement. So you will define an initial and final depth between 5 meters (16 feet) and 250 meters (820 feet).
Active scan (fast)
This scanning mode is a fast version of accurate scanning. It is also injecting electric current into the subsoil and measuring the potential difference (voltage drop) to calculate soil resistance.
Passive scanning
While using this scanning mode, the GeoSeeker uses only two electrodes to read the natural subway voltage (no power is injected into the subway). This mode is used to detect only water flowing underground.
The GeoSeeker water detector graphical user interface is available in the following languages:
Deutsch, English, Français, Spanish, Italian, عربي, Λληνικά, Türkçe, 中文, Pусский, Nederlands, فارسی.
